Veronika Valdés graduated from contemporary dance department at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet Ljubljana and from Pre-School Education and Grammar School Ljubljana, module contemporary dance. As a dancer of leading roles and with her solo dance miniatures, she participated at annual dance productions in Španski Borci Culture Centre in Ljubljana. She participated at numerous dance festivals. She was awarded at the international competition of young dance artists Opus-1 in 2001, 2009, and 2010. In 2011, she was the recipient of the Silver Meta Vidmar Badge and the Ksenija Hribar Award for a promising young dancer. In 2011, she decided to continue her formal dance education and enrolled at the Dance Academy Ljubljana.
