Ana Romih
Marry-go'-round
dance performance

The performance is a personal reflection that confronts the reality of the future, which is inevitably close and exposes the body itself as a tool for survival.
The whole structure is based on a ritual that, through the physicality of the body-physics-blur and loss of form, and with the help of it becomes something other than just a ritual, just as a body, just a thought-old image, a reflection of one's own truth and power.
About how to catch, the body that moves, how to leave the imprint differently than only in the memory of the viewer.
Marry-go'-round is a performance that was created in June 2014 as part of the diploma work at the Academy of Choreography in Amsterdam (SNDO).
